Many different groups and individuals came together to celebrate our town and the Christmas Season!  Thank you to everyone who participated in and volunteered for Christmas in Our Home Town.  A "thank you list" could go on for pages . . .  from Santa and Mrs. Claus, to Greenwoods Furniture, to the many folks who offered hot chocolate and Christmas confections, to the Wyoming County Players, to the free movies and workshops, to the talented musicians from TASD, to Tunkhannock.com and the Commemorative Christmas Tree Grove, to the newspaper office for keeping its doors open as the North Pole Information Center,

Thank you to TBPA (the Tunkhannock Business and Professional Association) which produces the event,
and to Community Bank and Trust and the many sponsors.

But when all is said and done, the behind the scenes volunteers who emptied garbage cans, picked up paper cups left on window ledges, set out signs, and ran errands back and forth across town are the folks who go unnoticed and yet whose efforts are so very important.

As we approach another Christmas, let's all take time to reflect on how fortunate we are.  Not only do we live each day in one of the most beautiful spots in the world, but we live in a community that obviously cares about each other.  How blessed we are!

Merry Christmas.
