We Offer the
following:
Chiropractic and Applied Kinesiology:
Many people begin their journey back to health with an
Applied Kinesiology examination,
which can search out underlying
causes for apparent symptoms. Low force chiropractic
adjustments help, not only with musculo/skeletal problems,
but also with immune dysfunction, fatigue, headaches,
and numerous other symptoms.
Massage Therapy:
Helpful in conjunction with Chiropractic, or on its own. Massage
Therapy has many immune response benefits, as well as its
relaxation benefits, for which it is well-known. Neonatal and
pre- and post-partum massage are offered, as well.
Polarity:
The science of balancing the life force in the body. Sometimes
this is done alternately with massage therapy, and is sometimes
the key in breaking through a stubborn, painful symptom.
Foot Reflexology:
A science that deals with the principle that there are reflex
areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all the glands,
organs, and other parts of the body. Reflexology uses the
tips of the thumbs and fingers on these reflex areas.
Reiki:
A method of natural healing, and a process of becoming balanced
and energized physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Relaxation/Meditation:
We have provided an hour per day (Noon - 1:00 p.m.), Tuesday
through Friday, for the sole purpose of sitting and being. This time
spent
"non-doing", could be your most productive time of the day!
Shiatsu:
This Asian art refers to "finger pressure", which is a form
of bodywork. The palms, thumbs, elbows, and knees are
connected to the energy pathways and
acupuncture points
of your body, to gently balance its energy.
Tai Chi:
The ancient moving and martial art. All ages can benefit from
the slow and even movements, which help create mental
tranquility, and promotes health and general
well-being. This
is a great form of rehabilitation and body maintenance.
Yoga:
A systematic, and gentle form of exercise that involves
stretching, breathing awareness, and concentration, in order
to tone, energize and relax both body and mind. Enough
cannot be said about the overall benefits to the mind, body
and spirit, for those who consistently practice yoga.
A Course In Miracles Study Group:
This is offered every Monday at 7:00 p.m., to anyone who would like to attend. The "Course" is one of many paths to psycho/spiritual healing.
We also carry books, tapes, CDs, aromatherapy, flower essences, candles, incense, supplements, and more. Browsers welcome!
I have described most of what the Center offers. Sometimes
there are new classes or special events. I will try to keep this
web page updated, but you can always call us with questions.
